Sheet metal fabrication, stamping and assembly
The stamping department comprises 11 mechanical and hydraulic presses with capacities ranging from 50 to 630 tonnes. All the machines are fed by uncoilers and transfer systems or dedicated robotic manipulators, and are equipped with the “Soft-Blanking” system
The assembly department comprises:
- 13 automated spot welding robots with 100% automatic inspection to check for the presence of nuts, bolts and bushings
- 5 projection welding machines for screws, bolts or Tuckers, equipped with feeders or a rotary table
- 7 mechanical presses (350 to 630 tonnes) with feeding and transfer lines
- 4 mechanical presses (250 to 630 tonnes) with feeding lines
- 4 automated spot welding robots with 100% inspection of threading on nuts and bolts
- 5 projection welding machines for screws, bolts or tucker elements
- 1 pin punching machine
- 2 robotic stations with continuous wire welding
Prototyping: Prototype parts are manufactured either directly within the FARA workshop or by selected external suppliers.
Any work carried out externally is always closely monitored by our staff: the Quality Control department carefully inspects the manufactured parts, checking their dimensions and ensuring they comply with the required specifications.
Delivery to the customer is handled in accordance with the GP12 specifications.
