FARA Stampi, located in Nichelino (Turin), is the strategic centre that supports FARA Industriale in its manufacturing operations. It plays a fundamental role in the construction of sheet metal dies and in the management of pre-series. In particular, it deals with:

Feasibility and deep-drawing studies using in-house Autoform™ software.
Design using parametric 3D technology with four UNIGRAPHICS NX and SOLID EDGE CAD-CAM workstations.
Rapid prototyping in sheet metal and composites, pre-series production and tooling for low-volume runs.

The synergy between the Technical Department and the workshop is one of our key strengths, enabling us to constantly monitor the mould manufacturing process and to manage any changes requested by the customer.

We manufacture the following equipment:

Progressive dies up to 3 metres in length and block dies

Dies with medium-to-deep draw

Dies with TIG weld build-up (in-house welding department)

Blanking dies: simple, progressive and double-action

All types of bending dies

Dies for transfer presses/manipulators

Prototypes with pilot equipment

A motorised DEA 3D measuring machine, along with CTR INTERPROG and SURFER software from MIRAI Engineering, are used to inspect the components.
